I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you about some new materials that the Bank Information Center has put together on the international financial institutions (IFIs) and Yemen.

BIC’s Yemen webpage is now available in Arabic on our website. You can access the page at www.bicusa.org/yemenarabic. We welcome your comments and questions. The English version is available on the website at: www.bicusa.org/yemen.

BIC’s Yemen Country Study is also available in Arabic. This document examines some of the history, trends and lending programs of the World Bank, IMF and other institutions in Yemen in some detail. You can access the document in Acrobat PDF format at www.bicusa.org/ifisandyemenarabic. The English version is available at www.bicusa.org/ifisandyemen.

We have also just completed our first Yemen IFIs Project Update, in which we list and describe all of the proposed projects under preparation and active projects that are financed by the IFIs. It is available in Acrobat PDF format at www.bicusa.org/yemenprojects.
