Zambia attacked by 'vulture fund'

A British court ruled that Donegal International, which paid less than $4m to buy off a Zambian debt valued at over $30m, is owed repayment from Zambia. The exact repayment total is undetermined, but estimated at about $20m – half the amount the country will receive in debt relief this year. Many are outraged at the ‘vulture fund’ for reversing the affects that debt relief should bring the impoverished nation.
