World Bank feasibility study on Dead Sea Canal overlooks alternatives

Civil society in the Middle East demands that the Bank give full consideration to viable alternatives to the costly project.

Preliminary estimates place the project at $20 billion.

Read more about the controversy surrounding the study on BIC's new Red Sea - Dead Sea Water Conduit problem project page.
