Environmental & Social Policies at the ADB

The ADB is has three environmental and social "safeguard" policies along with a number of additional sectoral policies. The ADB safeguard policies include the Environment Policy, Involuntary Resettlement Policy and Indigenous Peoples Policy. Additional sectoral policies relating to the environment include: Policy on Fisheries, Policy on Forestry and the Water Policy. For more information, please see the following BIC web pages:
