The Corpus Christi dam: a controvesial enterprise
Geographical Context: The binational project of the Corpus Christi dam is part of the Group 5 of projects of the MERCOSUR-Chile axis of IIRSA's portfolio.
Construction: The project consists of the construction of a dam in the Parana River between the dams of Yacyreta and Itaipu.
Financing: The Corpus Christi dam does not currently have financing. According to the IIRSA portfolio, the project will be financed for 2.000.000.000 of dollars in private investments and 100 million dollars of public investment.
