Central Interoceanic Axis
The Central Interoceánico axis is composed by Bolivia, southern Brazil, northern Chile, all of Paraguay and southern Peru. It has an area of 3.3 million km2. It is one of the main transversal axis of South America because the IIRSA axes that cross Bolivia; Perú-Brasil - Bolivia, Andean, Capricorn and waterway Paraguay-Paraná, converge to the interior of the country at some point.
