World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz met with German members of Parliament, civil society, the private sector and leading ministers as part of his trip to Berlin January 29-30.
World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz met with German members of Parliament, civil society, the private sector and leading ministers as part of his trip to Berlin January 29-30. In addition, Wolfowitz sat down with the President of Germany Horst Kohler and discussed an array of development issues with the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul. The main points of discussion revolved around work to be done in Africa, post-conflict situations, renewable energies and the Doha round of trade negotiations.
