Civil society will have the opportunity to apply for observer seats on two World Bank Climate Investment Fund (CIF) committees and one sub-committee.
RESOLVE (www.resolv.org), a nonprofit organization specializing in stakeholder involvement and multi-stakeholder consensus-building, is organizing the civil society organization self-selection process for observer seats on two CIF committees (Clean Technology Fund and Strategic Climate Fund) and one sub-committee (Pilot Program for Climate Resilience). Our goal is to design an open, transparent, and inclusive process in consultation with the CSO community.
The observer self-selection process will take place over the summer and CSO representatives will have the opportunity to apply for a seat when the call for applications is issued. RESOLVE is currently seeking input on the draft criteria for the observer seats that have been developed through initial conversations with CSO representatives. For more information and to give input on the CSO observer self-selection process, please visit the RESOLVE website at www.resolv.org/cif or contact Dana Goodson at or +1.202.965.6209.
