At the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, each member country is represented by an Executive Director (ED) and Alternate Executive Director (Alt ED). Countries holding larger shares have their own Executive Directors. Smaller shareholding countries are clustered together under shared representation.

Citizens of EBRD member countries should feel free to contact their Executive Director to share their concerns and complaints. The Board should be responsive to and accountable for the citizens of the countries they represent. It is therefore important that more civil society groups approach them and ask them to address their concerns.
