Dear civil society members,
The Inter-American Development Bank would like to invite you to participate in an informative session on the General Capital Increase process (GCI-9). This meeting will take place on Thursday, September 24th (2pm - 5pm) in the IDB building (room SE280).
The objective of the meeting is, on one hand, explain some of the precise aspects of the GCI-9 process, and on the other, for IDB members to hear the proposals/suggestions that civil society submitted to the IDB's President on June 25th, 2009 regarding: a) Climate and Sustainibility and b) Managing for Development Results in light of the GCI-9.
Present at the meeting will be the Vice-presidency for Countries, Managers from the Office of Planning and Strategy and Development Effectiveness, Environmental Safeguards, Infrastructure, SECCI, as well as the Sub Regional Manager for the Andean Region, the External Relations Advisor and other members of upper management of the IDB.
