The Requesters highlight the importance of the Panel's independence in determing the scope and process of the Inspection
On January 27, 2004, the Chashma Project Inspection Requesters submitted their comments to the Panel's Terms of Reference. After receiving no response from the ADB Board Inspection Committee regarding a request that their comments be posted on the ADB's website, the Requesters decided to submit their comments directly to the Panel members. They have also requested that the Panelists make themselves available to the requesters and affected communities for engagement throughout the Inspection Process.
