The International Advisory Group has released the report of its 8th mission to Chad, from the 10th to 26th of October 2004. The mission to Cameroon was postponed until January 2005 because of the national elections, held in mid-October. The IAG’s findings in Chad highlight the need for assiduous government monitoring of the oil economy, as revenues mount and new oil developments move forward. Read the IAG report in
