Update BIC launches new Web page on Parliamentary Oversight of the IFIs 30 March 2005 Civil society organizations continue to push for increased parliamentary oversight of the IFIs in order to keep multilateral development banks (MDBs) accountable to elected government representatives and the public at large. Use BIC’s new Web page to keep track of recent reports, briefings, petitions and other related civil society initiatives enhancing the democratic governance of the IFIs.
