ADB Posts Long-delayed Review of Governance and Anticorruption Policy Implementation; Now Available for Comment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) posted a final draft of its review on the implementation of ADB Governance and Anticorruption Policies on December 27, 2005. The draft is available for public comment until February 1, 2006.

On December 27, 2005, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) posted a final draft of its review on the implementation of ADB Governance and Anticorruption Policies. The draft is available for public comment until February 1, 2006, and comments may be sent to .

The review of the implementation of these policies began in June 2004, with desk-reviews of current practice regarding governance and anticorruption issues. Following these reviews, internal and public consultations were held in the final quarter of 2004. The final draft report of the review was originally scheduled to be released for public comment in June 2005, but was delayed several months due to comments received during internal and external consultations. The report will be sent to the Board for approval after the current comment period ends on February 1, 2006.
