Former financial secretary of the Mauritian finance ministry, Louis Philippe Ong Seng, became the World Bank Executive Director for Mauritius in 2006. Prior to his appointment, Seng was the Alternate Executive Director.
Trained as an accountant, Mr. Seng received a diploma from the London School of Accountancy and has spent his entire professional career as a civil servant.
