US swears in Executive Director to IMF

Meg Lundsager was confirmed by the US Senate and is now the official US Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund.
The new Executive Director of the IMF was officially appointed by President Bush after having served as the alternate Executive Director for the US. Prior to working at the IMF, Lundsager spent several years with the Treasury department in various capacities and also served as a member of the National Security Council staff.
