ADB safeguards panel discussion from 2008 Annual Meeting

Audio from the panel discussion on the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Safeguard Policy Update at the ADB's 2008 Annual Meeting is now available online.
In 2005, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) embarked on a Safeguard Policy Update (SPU) to revise its three safeguard policies: the Involuntary Resettlement Policy (1995), the Indigenous Peoples Policy (1998) and the Environment Policy (2002). This Panel, held at the ADB’s 41st Annual Meeting in Madrid, was organized by Oxfam Australia and its purpose was to provide a space for exchange between different stakeholders on the key issues around the SPU. Panelists were:
