Vince brings 15 years of research and advocacy experience in Latin America specializing in trade, integration and rural development policy. He worked for three years at InterAction managing an NGO advocacy program around the Inter-American Development Bank, and has consulted widely on participation, transparency and accountability issues related to the IDB, World Bank and sub-regional banks in Latin America. His recent research and writing has focused on MDB involvement in political economic reforms, Plan Puebla Panamá and CAFTA, land inequality and conflict. Vince has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Vince will direct our Building Informed Civic Engagement for Conservation in the Andes-Amazon (BICECA) project, helping civil society organizations analyze and influence economic integration projects and policies in the Andes-Amazon. Find out more about BICECA at www.biceca.org
