Eileen joined BIC in February 2009 for an internship with the BICECA program. She is originally from outside Chicago but previously lived in DC for her undergraduate studies at Georgetown where she focused on literature and Latin American politics. After college Eileen worked for International IDEA and several other organizations in Lima, Peru before returning to the US in the fall of 2008.  In the future, Eileen will attend a law school here in the US and hopes to focus on international law.
